There are fundraisers and fundraisers as there are an endless array of worthy causes.  When I learned about ‘Peppermints & Ginger Comfort Kits, Inc.’ and their dedicated team, I was moved by their sensitivity, determination and caring for that often forgot about segment of our world; those who undergo the physical, emotional and life altering effects of chemotherapy. Their group is a collection of  special people who put together events to raise money so they can supply chemotherapy patients (adults and children) with kits/products that can help “decrease some of the side effects of chemotherapy as well as reduce stress and offer relaxation.”

Yes, we live in an intense world, overwhelmed with so many opportunities to give of ourselves to help others. There is a lot of work to do and miles to go before we rest. We at NJ Discover are hyposensitized to feature worthwhile pursuits. Perhaps check out this fundraiser on Friday November 6^th, do some shopping before the holidays and some good work.
