A Night of Comedy and Giving Back: The Night of Young Comics-Fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis-Freehold NJ-July 27th by Calvin Schwartz
There are a plethora of announcements for summer events, important causes, relevance and poignancy that come across my desk. Sometimes overwhelming. But when I heard about this comedy event, WITH young comics and benefitting Cystic Fibrosis, local to central Jersey, in Freehold, I knew to do some promulgation awareness. It’s the summer, a Friday night, a great town with ‘global’ musical history, an abundancy of eateries, lots of laughs and a really important cause to benefit. I know all about cystic fibrosis from a dear friend who I often think about. So, if you’re looking for a special summer night out, come on down to Freehold. Thanks

The American Hotel brings back the old world charm and ambiance of Freehold’s long standing social centerpiece. Originally built in 1827 as a stagecoach stop, the hotel grew and expanded as did the needs and population of Monmouth County. But, after 180 years of making memories, the facilities were certainly in need of a total make-over. And so, new owner Steve Goldberg, stepped up to the plate by completing a top to bottom renovation, creating a New York style Boutique Hotel which was described in the Asbury Park Press as a “masterpiece” and brought a new life and vibrancy to downtown Freehold.
The CF Foundation is the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis, and nearly every CF-specific drug available today was made possible with our financial support. They are a donor-funded, 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is fully accredited by the Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) Wise Giving Alliance program.
