Sharrott Winery
Located in Winslow Township, New Jersey in Blue Anchor just outside of Hammonton is Sharrott Winery. The winery under the direction of owners Larry Sharrott Sr. and his son Larry Jr., has built a reputation for producing world class wines here in New Jersey. Wines from Sharrott Winery regularly win best in class, double gold and gold medals in international and national wine competitions. This year, Wicked, the winery’s port-style wine, won a double gold medal in the San Francisco Chronicle’s Wine Competition, the largest domestic wine competition in the country.
Sharrott Winery makes dry white wines, including rieslings, pinot grigios, chardonnays, and more. They also have a remarkable selection of red wine. NJ residents and travelers from far and wide visit Sharrott Winery to sample locally made cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot, chambourcin, and syrah. And, those that love sweet wines can enjoy sangias, vignoles and sweet rieslings.
Sharrott Winery is more than just a winery. New Jersey residents love visiting on the weekend to hear live music and celebrate special occasions. If you find yourself to be among those who can’t get enough of their chardonnay, pinot grigio, cabernet, and sweet wine, enroll in their wine club.
Sharrott Winery is open seven days a week. To learn more, visit www.sharrottwinery.com
